UC co-op earnings climb to $99.5 million

University of Cincinnati co-op students earned $99.5 million in 2025-26, a 5.69% increase, with 9,614 co-op enrollments and 1,798 employers across top industries.

Since 2021 the University of Cincinnati’s Center for Youth Futures (CYF) has, as its name makes clear, worked to provide opportunities for today’s youth to discover and pursue exciting futures through education. For the past five years, the center (which operates out of the College of Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Information Technology—CECH) has offered a series of programs to youth in grades 4 through 12 that seek to build student academic understanding and emotional intelligence as well as provide education and career pathway information.

Previously known as Human Development and Community Engagement, the School of Education program (part of the College of Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Information Technology [CECH]) will, beginning in fall 2027, officially be known as Human and Community Development (HCD).
