Paralegal

The fast-growing field of Paralegal Studies opens the doors to opportunities in law firms, private practices, corporate legal departments, and government agencies such as the U.S. Department of Justice, the Social Security Administration, and the U.S. Department of Treasury.
You'll develop an extensive knowledge of law and litigation to work directly alongside attorneys preparing client files, researching cases, and drafting legal documents. Advanced paralegals accompany counsel during trial, work with witness preparation and may have extensive client contact.

School Principal
Are you a natural leader with a passion for education? Do you see yourself as a role model for the next generation? School Principals set the bar for excellence and accountability in the classroom, from developing goals and standards to managing and motivating staff and students. Principals supervise all aspects of an organization including facilities, staffing, educational goals and budgeting. With UC's program, you will gain the skills to manage both day-to-day operations and long-term planning.

Police Officer
Do you aspire to serve and protect? Being a police officer is more than just a job - it requires integrity, dedication and responsibility to your community, both on and off-duty. Through Criminal Justice studies, you'll be prepared to work in law enforcement, the courts, corrections, criminal justice administration, crime prevention, or youth services. If you're already employed in the field, the degree is a great vehicle for career advancement.
Opportunities for field work exist with area law enforcement, court systems, and corrections facilities, allowing you to gain experience before entering the force. Graduates can also go on to work in federal organizations including the CIA and the Department of Homeland Security.

Athletic Trainer
Do you love sports and have a drive to see athletes perform their best? A career in Athletic Training focuses on the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of physical injuries. You'll learn to educate patients and provide care for a variety of injuries, from minor sprains to chronic medical conditions. Students gain experience in the field studying with the Reds, Bengals, even the Cincinnati Ballet.
As an athletic trainer, you'll not only find job opportunities on the field, but also in schools, universities, hospitals, and fitness centers, as well as in the military, law enforcement, and performing arts - just about anywhere where people are active.

High School Teacher
Do you want to teach where you can focus on your favorite subject? High school teachers specialize in an area such as science, mathematics, English, social studies or foreign language.
You'll gain experience through observation and teaching in the classroom, learning about adolescent development. Teaching at the high school level incorporates problem-solving, critical thinking, as well as technology with curriculum integration. Graduates may teach in public or privates schools, and many opportunities await teachers in the areas of science and math.
