My name is Alvaro Aristizábal, I have a BS in Electronic Media/Journalism from Colombia (1984). I have lived in Cincinnati since 1986. I have worked as an Audio Visual Technician for the biggest audio visual company in Cincinnati for a couple of years. More importantly, I worked as an Information Technology Analyst (and as an Adjunct Instructor) at the University of Cincinnati, Raymond Walters College for four and half years. As an Information Technology Analyst at Raymond Walters College, I had the opportunity to be in charge of the operation of the Media Services Center in classroom support at the college for the second shift and I was responsible for the hiring, scheduling and supervision of twelve student workers at the center. For the last thirty two months I have worked as a Bilingual Academic Advisor for the Early Childhood Learning Community Online Program in the College of Education and Criminal Justice at the University of Cincinnati. I advise all the students in the Spanish program and I advise students with last names beginning “ I-N” in the ECLC English program.
