Academic Program
Executive Leadership & Superintendent Licensure
Professional Development
The Executive Leadership Institute and Superintendent Licensure Program allows licensed administrators the opportunity to obtain the required coursework for a superintendent's license. The year-long program includes a one-week, oncampus institute held in July with the remainder of the required 30-quarter-hour program completed online.
The program has veteran superintendents as part of the teaching team and includes a structured planned field experience. The program meets State of Ohio licensure requirements but extends beyond that to include key topics deemed by practicing superintendents to be critical to success in the role. The goal is to provide an excellent program, well balanced between theory and practice in a format that is practical for those already engaged in leadership activities.
