Field Placement

Field Placement is designed to allow seniors in Criminal Justice the opportunity to gain practical field experience prior to graduation. In order to complete the requirements for a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, seniors must register for two field placement classes (495 & 496), each of which require 72 hours of internship work with a chosen agency and a 5-page paper that incorporates the student’s internship experience with knowledge gained throughout their classes in Criminal Justice. Students should meet with the field placement coordinator in the academic quarter prior to the quarter they wish to register for field placement in order to secure placement at an agency.
